Busiest Times

According to USA Today the busiest times at FLL Airport are broken up into three different periods. Early morning (6 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.), lunchtime (10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.) and evening (5 p.m. – 8 p.m.). So, if you plan on arriving during these times it’s best to pad in an extra 30 minutes than you normally would to make sure you make it through security in time. If you plan to stay at FLL airport overnight (it’s open 24 hours), be sure to pack warm clothes and some snacks. The airport is heavily air conditioned and can get cold at night.
